Historic Times

In the last 20+ years we have witnessed 9/11, the financial crisis of 2008, two wars (Iraq & Afghanistan), Covid, January 6th, the "mostly peaceful" protests of 2020, hyperinflation, and now, possibly the worst financial crisis of our lifetime.

We have been saying for years that the stock market is not a proper representation of our economy. You can only live on credit for so long. Last week the US debt exceeded $35 trillion dollars. This past Thursday and Friday, we saw the stock market take a substantial hit.

Last night, I watched as the Japanese stock market took its biggest loss in its history. MUFG Bank, the largest bank in Japan, lost $85 billion dollars today. Simultaneously, South Korea halted trading on its market last night. NASDAQ and Dow Jones futures are down heading in to what many feel may be the worst day on the market since "Black Monday" of 1987.

Stock trader "Robin Hood" has halted trading for the next 24 hours. Bitcoin has lost 10% of its value over the last 24 hours. It is currently at $52,722 as of 5:17 AM ET.

But do you know what stock has taken off? Lockheed Martin. Shares are up almost 20% over the last 30 days. During difficult times, the Military Industrial Complex always stays ahead.

All of this going on, and Iran hasn't even fired a single missile as of yet. We will see what happens. Either way it should be an interesting, and quite possibly even a historic week.

Romans 5:3-4 - Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

God bless, we will post updates as they happen.

George

Hebrews 12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
